Please note that on Monday 12th September, the Department of Education informed schools of the approval of the national bank holiday for the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II and Twyford will therefore be closed on Monday 19th September.
As of December 2022, schools across the United Kingdom have been informed of the closure on Monday 8th May 2023 for the Coronation of King Charles III and his wife Camilla as Queen Consort.

Unauthorised Absence
Please be aware that leave of absence for holidays during term time is no longer permissible under government guidance (November 2013). The school must warn parents that if they take unauthorised leave of absence during term time then they will be liable to a fixed penalty fine issued on the school’s behalf by the local authority.
